I have been wanting to stain my desk for awhile. Nick came home on Saturday and since El Nino made it rain, he stained my childhood desk. I put new knobs on it on Monday. I also took a major step into adulthood. I bought a filing cabinet. It's true. Now I'm grown up.

My friend Desi and I were inspired to craft it up this weekend. We made french boards. The back of mine look like a botched plastic surgery job from Mexico. The front looks okay though. It's very simple. You just staple gun some fabric on a canvas from Micheal's and then put brads where the ribbons intersect. It was fun! You may notice mine look a little wonkey, but I swear the next time I do them I will pay attention to detail.

This post was boring, but informative if you are kept up at night wondering "What will Kaley do next in the area of home decor?!"
