I have a dirty little secret. I used to read Christian romance novels. When I was twelve.
This is before I knew how adults functioned. Before I had been in a relationship with an actual human male. The book says things such as this -
"Oh, Rand," Brandon shook his head. "I sound like a lovesick schoolboy. You heard what she said... After all these years she still doesn't want to be married."
"Brandon was so surprised he blinked in stupefaction."
Oh my goodness. Reality is calling. Christian Romance didn't get the message.

HA! i used to read them too. when i was 12. thankfully i discovered quality literature. . mostly thanks to my much more intelligent younger sister. sheesh. . :)
