Museum of Man

A rainy San Diego begs the question: What do you do in San Diego when it rains?! The answer? Not much. The malls are outdoors, the ocean is outdoors, the zoo is outdoors, the Gaslamp District is outdoors, Seaport Village is outdoors.... I could go on and on.

LP and I desperately sought something fantastic to do- besides playing Plants vs Zombies on Nick's laptop. We decided to go to the Museum of Man!

This museum is really just a front for people pushing evolution, see below.

However, they did have a very interesting albeit disturbing display of mummies and shrunken heads. I even saw naturally preserved mummy babies from the Peruvian Andes. It was just a little gross.

Then we saw alabaster jars which reminded me of Jesus, so that was good.

And the icing on the cake was seeing C-3PO... and maybe this creepy cyborg doll head. If you are having trouble gathering the theme of this museum... you're in good company.
