Now I live here. 
Some things about the West Coast, and by some I mean just about all, are different.
Observations on West Coast Living.
- People are very relaxed.
- People eat healthy to stay freakishly thin.
- Del Taco.
- Skate boards.
- Pedestrians have mad right of way.
- Hills.
- Chargers! Weird.
- Palm Trees.
- Dirt.
- Sea lions, seals.
- No Squirrels! Except on cliffs. I miss those little guys.
- Seriously, no roadkill.
- Sunsets.
- Fish Tacos.
And that's the west coast for you.

Now, I do LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it here, but that description of the west coast made me want to move immediately. Sigh...
You should watch Veronica Mars. They filmed it in San Diego. I visited the studio when I there a few years ago. You may recognize some of the sites. Plus, V Mars is so, so good.
