California is full of little surprises.  For instance, May and June are months that reek of fog and grayness.  There are tsunami warnings as it is located on the junction of two tectonic plates.

I'll admit.  I did stop in the middle of the road and take this photo.  

It also has tumbleweeds.

I was just waiting for Wiley Coyote and Roadrunner to run across the road.
