Did you have a close relationship with any of your grandparents? Tell about it.
Granny. Lena Ellen. She's from West Virginia. When I was younger- I loved spending time with Granny. She let me eat cool whip from the container. She always had Hershey Kisses. Those are not the reasons that I love my Granny.
It is impossible to not love someone who loves you so much. I always knew my Granny loved me. We spent lots of time together. I always loved going on trips to West Virginia with Granny and Grandad. I remember going up skyline drive together, and picking raspberries outside of the house on the mountain. I loved to have sleepovers at her house, in fact we had many youth group sleepovers in their basement. I think I even froze Granny's underwear. I have many fond recollections of lounging on the plaid couch watching Animal Planet and Brigadoon.
As I got older I remember going with her to see her mother in the nursing home. We visited and even hosted a sock hop. She took in my boyfriend (now husband) when I needed him, selfishly, to live close to me. She even took in my cat when I moved out of my apartment.
I have a great host of memories with Granny (and Grandad). I love when she calls me and I hate being so very far away.

That is a very sweet blog. She loves you very much.
I wish I did. I'm always jealous of people who have relationships like that with their grandparents.
