california has changed me, by making me cooler

I've been living in California for a year.  By my calculations that pretty much makes me a native.  I sit here writing my blog looking out on the Belmont Park roller coaster lights dazzling through the night and I'm reminded that I am much cooler than those of you living on the East Coast.

I said it.  Cooler.

You know why?  I know that plaid shirt dresses are in.  I can wear boots outside my pants and no one will do a double take.  I could wear feather earrings I wanted to.  I could even stop wearing pants altogether.  What can I say about California fashion?  Well, it's like I'm from the future.  The fashion future.

Don't judge me and my outfits this year.  Take a snapshot and examine them in 2011.  That's when they'll be cool...
