best cast.

I'd like to offer my opinion on the best cast Harry Potter characters.  Let me say this.  I enjoy the movies.  Sometimes they extract a scene from my imagination and it truly is a magical moment.  As a whole, they will never be close to what I want them to be.  Knowing that, we move on.

Hagrid.  Maybe it is because he is so straightforward.  I love Robbie Coltrane.  When they put Hagrid in his hairy brown suit and yellow tie, well, they pulled it out of my imagination.  He's gruff and loyal and quite frankly an alcoholic.

Ronald Billius Weasley.  There could be no other Ron.  He's obnoxious, he's gangly, his patronus is a retriever.  Perfection.  I love how Rupert Grint plays him.  Half blithering idiot, half unswervingly loyal friend.  

Severus Snape.  His greasy hair.  His hooked nose.  His quiet rage and superiority complex.  I love it!  Well played Alan Rickman.  Protective enough, but still condescending enough.
