I've recently been involved in a study called "Gospel in Heart".

It's pretty eye opening.  This week we confronted our idols.  One question asked what we spent our free time thinking about.  I spent yesterday catching my thoughts.

  1. Clothes, Clothes, Outfits, Clothes
  2. Pumpkins, squash, leaves
  3. Do I look fat right now?  How's my hair?  Do my pants make my thighs look big?
  4. Grumpy, Salary, Grumpy, Scowl at child, Grumpy
  5. Friday, Nick comes home, Nick, lonely, clean so Nick doesn't kill me...
  6. Hogwarts, District 12, Bayern, Falada, Hagrid, Harry, Princess
  7. What's Molly doing?  Is she hungry?  Is she bored?  Hot?  Sad?
How sad is that.  That is what I think about mainly.  That was also my lame attempt at stream of consciousness writing.

I've done this too- sometimes it is hard to be confronted with our own thoughts.
but, I think you are great, and have great thoughts and ideas-- we all just get in funks where we realize God isn't at the top of the list.
